What is a COSHH Assessment?

Under the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) 2002, no work may be carried out where employees are liable to be exposed to substances hazardous to health unless a suitable and sufficient risk assessment has been carried out.

These extremely practical documents help you identify the risks on site and the steps you can take to avoid them. Literally a life saver…

Or you can create a new COSHH Assessment by pressing the New button.

Similarly, you can delete any you think you do not require using the Delete button.

Having selected a COSHH Assessment, you can use the Edit button to review it and make changes.

Identify and record any risks

Use the COSHH Assessments included in Health & Safety Xpert® to help you identify and record any risks associated with dangerous substances and the measures that you have taken to control and prevent exposure. It is important to file these records so that they could be consulted by an inspector if necessary.
