We have been using HBXL’s estimating and drawing software for several years, so were aware of the Health & Safety Xpert software. After a quick phone call this was promptly ordered and installed. An hour’s playing to get used to the software’s layout and we were ready to go! About 30 minutes later we where the proud owners of a very professional looking company health and safety policy, method statements , risk assessments, and COSHH reports all tailored to this particular contract with title sheets and indexes.
Initially I thought that EstimatorXpress was expensive but now that I’m using it I’ve started to realise all the things that I might have missed on each job and forgotten about. Plus my work has more than doubled since I got the software, so the software definitely pays for itself. Before EstimatorXpress I guess I used to estimate the ‘back of a fag packet’ method.

I would recommend EstimatorXpress to any builder who wants to save time. Before I bought this software, I had no free time. That's the thing I've noticed most with EstimatorXpress - the time it gives me for other things. I always used the old methods: pen, paper etc, but they are no comparison to the software. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
I'm a builder and not very good with computers. I find it user friendly and really easy to use. HBXL have done a really good job with EstimatorXpress. They've come up trumps!
