What's so outstanding about EstimatorXpress is the speed and ease of estimating. I can turn jobs and estimates round quicker than ever before! Estimates used to take between 7 and 8 hours – with EstimatorXpress they take 2 ½ hours max. I'm very pleased with it.
Once up and running we were soon producing estimates at a much more economical rate. A key feature for us is by far the final presentation of the customer quotation. We can include as much or little detail as required and the way it breaks everything down means nothing is missed

My whole experience of the HBXL team, including the support I received from the tech guys and the Estimating Service estimators, was great – they are clearly used to dealing with builders and know how to fit communications around our busy working lives!
We used to do our estimating the old fashion (pen and paper) way and found EstimatorXpress was faster and more detailed in the final quote so we don’t regret changing over to the HBXL software. We did consider using a QS for a time but they can be costly and we are not always certain exactly where they pull their prices from, with EstimatorXpress we have more control to tailor our material costs as well as adjust our overhead to meet our business needs. The software takes a lot of the guess work out of estimating and ensures that we have a better chance to win work and turn over a profit.
Now that I’ve got the names of all my workers into Health & Safety Xpert I can get all the health and safety paperwork I need on a job completed in close to 10 minutes. It’s a massive time-saving tool, but that’s not to say I’m taking less care on health and safety. In fact, I’ve started to find out about things I was potentially missing out of my assessments before. It’s absolutely brilliant and if you’ve won a job using HBXL’s EstimatorXpress then you can just import the job into Health & Safety Xpert saving even more time. It’s another great piece of software from HBXL that saves me no end of time!
