Nothing beats being in control and drawing the plans yourself. The job gets done right and the job gets done on time. Ideas can be tried and evaluated in a matter of minutes. Even if you still want to use an architect he has a whole new respect for your ideas when he sees your drawings.
I have used PlansXpress for 3 months now, it was a significant sum so I spent over a month deciding whether to purchase the software, I also invested in EstimatorXpress & an A1 ink jet colour printer. I can now save £15,000 a year in architects fees.
What's so outstanding about EstimatorXpress is the speed and ease of estimating. I can turn jobs and estimates round quicker than ever before! Estimates used to take between 7 and 8 hours – with EstimatorXpress they take 2 ½ hours max. I'm very pleased with it.
