HBXL Building Software celebrating entrepreneurs in Great Britain

UPDATE: We’re really pleased to report that Adrian was crowned runner-up in the Family Business Entrepreneur of the Year category at the NatWest Great British Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in November 2017. HBXL was presented with second prize, just losing out to Spectrum Collections who went on to win the overall competition. So…! In fact Adrian was amongst 150 other family businesses, so huge congratulations. One of the judges, Helena Bell declared, “Adrian, you are brilliant! Well done! Judging your category was tough!” Of course over and above the personal recognition, these prestigious NatWest awards have shone a light on small to medium sized UK building firms, who we champion on a daily basis.

Now in its fifth year, the Awards acknowledge the hard work and inspiring stories of British entrepreneurs and businesses in Great Britain. The Awards have celebrated some outstanding entrepreneurs who have gone on to become household names.

Championing small businesses

Entrepreneurship is a subject close to Adrian’s heart – he and the team at HBXL have been championing the cause of British small to medium sized building firms for close on twenty years – making sure builders get the profit they deserve, are paid on time and operate in safe environments. As a family business the family ethos is extended to staff and customers alike.

Adrian commented, “It was great to be shortlisted, it’s recognition of everyone’s hard work. We’re in good company in our category. I hope we can bring home some more silverware to add to the collection!”

HBXL recently became the winner of an Innovation & Excellence Award from Corporate Live Wire in the Best Construction Software Provider category. The company is also Tech Company of the Year 2017 which was awarded by CV Magazine.
