Yes, the Building Safety Act is for every builder. Despite much of the talk being around cladding on high rise buildings, the Act has been created as a framework for design, construction and management of safer, high-quality homes across the board.
The Act came into law in 2022 but has been added to in subsequent years. We think it’s pretty complex! So, we produced this guide, hopefully to help break down why the Act exists, how it impacts you, what your responsibilities are, and how it differs from CDM 2015. Not a wildly exciting read, but an important one, if you don’t want to risk a fine or worse!
