HBXL Building Software is proud to share the news of an exciting award win! Corporate Vision Magazine has announced the winners of the 2020 Technology Innovator Awards – and we’re one of them!

It’s official! We’re the ‘Best Building & Construction Software Developers – UK 2020’. The winners are judged on their excellence in the industry, the quality of their products and their dedication to service. So we couldn’t be happier to have received it.

New features are key to our success

We’ve been championing innovation for the 20 years we’ve been in business. While we’ve watched competitor products stand still or disappear altogether, HBXL has invested heavily in research and development. Our aim is to ensure that our software range keeps getting easier, faster, more effective and feature-rich. And every few months customers can expect exciting new updates to their software.

Corporate Vision magazine explains, “Innovation is the true driver of the technological landscape. It’s through the efforts of companies both large and small that the business world can continue to grow, exceed expectations and evolve its offerings. As such, CV launched the Technology Innovator Awards to recognise all companies that are helping – in whatever way they can – to deliver change through innovation, expertise and creativity.”

Awards Coordinator Natalie Farrell added: “Now in its sixth year, the Technology Innovator Awards have only grown to encompass a plethora of businesses to showcase their individual achievements and successes in the technology sphere.”

Long-standing winners

It’s the not the first time HBXL has been awarded by Corporate Vision. In 2016 we received the ‘Best Estimating Software’ in the Technical Innovation Awards.

2020 has been an extraordinary year for all sorts of reasons. But the interest in our software since March, in particular, has been amazing. Gone are the days of ‘head down and get on with it’. The pandemic has been a real wake-up call for many. Building firms have recognised the need for a plan for success. They know that an order book full of decent-sized, profitable jobs takes time and effort.

The biggest prize for us is chatting to builders who are subscribing to, or buying our estimating and design software outright. They want the edge in a competitive market and to make life easier and more profitable for themselves. And they know that an HBXL software product will help get them there.
